I just moved my blog from blogs.clubwager.net/Danny/ to here. Some of the posts are a bit messed up in the transition, but nothing major. I will clean them all up over the next few days.
Came here with Russ to check it out. They had added a second day 1 to accommodate all the players and had 640 players. I decided to play it.

Lasted 6 levels. Last hand my pocket aces were cracked. I slow played the pocket aces. I made this decision as I had some very aggressive very big stacks at the table and I was down to about half of our starting chips and I needed to double or triple up to be in contention. Even though I ended up losing, I would do it again given this situation.

I came in 119 out of 340 entrants at the end of the 7th level. Last hand blinds were 400 / 600 with 100 ante, so 2200 in the pot. I had jack 9 suited in late position and it was folded to me, so I had an excellent chance to steal. I went all in for 5000. Next player also went all in and showed pocket queens. I caught a 9 on the flop but failed to improve further.
