Lasted 6 levels. Last hand my pocket aces were cracked. I slow played the pocket aces. I made this decision as I had some very aggressive very big stacks at the table and I was down to about half of our starting chips and I needed to double or triple up to be in contention. Even though I ended up losing, I would do it again given this situation.
One of the big stacks raised to $800 (I think we were at the 150 - 300 level). Several folders and I just called. Player behind me and both blinds called. The flop was 456. Small blind bet 2000 and initial raiser called. I thought for a while and ultimately decided that SB probably had a pair or a draw and the other player had a medium pair, so I went all in for 8500. Everyone folded except the initial raiser who sure enough had a medium pair. Unfortunately instead of 8's, 9's etc., he had 77. I survived the turn 10, but the river was a 3 and I was out. This was a 19000 pot and would have given me an above average stack at a critical level.
Crossed the street and played a mega satellite at Binion's for $220 to try to get in their $2000 finale. Made it to 6th of 34 (top 3 got entry and 4th got 400 cash). Ace 9 vs ace 5 and k j in huge pot at 11 players. I caught ace on flop and they all called the all in, but the 5 cane on the river!
